This stone is wonderful. The patterns and colors are just intriguing! I really love it with the rose cut Citrine Wildflowers, that echo the colors in the stone!
One of the Hottest stones going right now- 7 Dwarfs mine was just discovered not too long ago. With all the interesting colors and patterns and matrix, very reminiscent of New Lander and Damele, its destined to be come a classic, and already very collectible..
This mine is located East of Tonopah, Nevada, just North of the old Dry Creek Mine. They are finding Turquoise, Variquoise, and Chalcosiderite in this deposit.
When asked how the name of the mine came about, the Miner said, I was wondering around in the desert, wishing to find a new deposit, and I actually found one! It was like a Fairy Tale! That's the first name that popped into my mind, and it just stuck!
I took this wonderful 7 Dwarfs stone and created a silver setting for it using my collection of silversmithing hand tools and torch. The flowers, and raindrops are handmade. All made by my hands, with much attention to detail, here in my shop in Rural Oklahoma.

Some information about 7 Dwarfs from a highly respected stone cutter-
"Some of the minerals discovered are as follows: Turquoise, Variscite, Chalcosiderite, Crandallite, Gem Silica and perhaps a new hybrid material, which is what the highest grade of the bulk yield is consisted of. My GUESS is that it could possibly be something along the lines of “Chalcosilica” – yeah, I just made that word up. (I attribute it to being a cross between Chalcosiderite and Gem Silica. This material is highly silicated I would guess for it to be a 6.5-7 on MOHs scale.) Kinda like the use of the word Variquoise…doesn't exist as a real classification but it's a common way of describing a hybrid material" by http://www.excavade.com
